I will always remember him.

Actually he is estimated to have saved around 160 lives. He was known as the Angel of the Gap. He’d see people up on the cliff, go out and convince them to come down and invite them in for a cuppa and a chat and hopefully change their minds.

He deserves more than the Local Hero award. He will be sorely missed by everyone.

Apparently his children will carry on his efforts at the Gap in sydney.

I think he deserves a bigger award too, though it’s obvious that he wasn’t doing it for such purposes. I didn’t know he passed away last year, rest in peace sir, you are an inspiration for humanity.

He passed away on Monday. I was listening to the radio when the news came though. It was really very sad.
